Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) is a ”purposive productive work and services related to the needs of the child and the community, which will prove meaningful to the learner.

It is a tool for inculcating Gandhian values, viz., truth, non-violence, self-reliance, dignity of labour, cooperation, classless society and the likes. It bridges the gap between life, education, and work. It makes learning effective and useful and correlates knowledge with craft and theory with practice.
