Mr. Dilip Kotia, former IAS officer (1981 batch) joined The Indian Public School in July, 2023, as its full time Executive Chairman. As an IAS officer, he has worked in Government of India, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Government of Uttarakhand for more than three decades. He has vast administrative experience in various senior positions.

It would be pertinent to mention that our Executive Chairman has a keen interest and specialization in the field of School Education. He also held the position of the Private Secretary to the Union Human Resource Development Minister, Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi for three years. He has also headed the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti as its Commissioner, and looked after nearly 600 fully co-educational residential schools (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas) all over the country, for more than three years. Apart from the experience in the Government of India, for more than four years, he was Secretary, School Education, Government of Uttarakhand.

Mr. Kotia has also worked as District Magistrate of Allahabad, Aligarh, Budaun and Etah districts of Uttar Pradesh. His career spanning over three decades, is benchmarked with distinctive achievements.

Our Executive Chairman has immense affection towards children and is deeply committed towards the growth of the school in multiple innovative ways, thus dedicated to the care and concern of all the stakeholders.
