

Shastrath National Youth Parliament & Model United Nations Empowering Youth Voices, Shaping National Discourse
The much-awaited Shastrath National Youth Parliament & Model United Nations was successfully hosted on 6–7 September 2025 at The Indian Public School, Rajawala, Dehradun. The two-day event brought together brilliant young minds from across the country to engage in impactful debates, thought-provoking discussions, and high-level simulations on some of the most pressing national and global issues.
The program commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Shuchita Gupta, Principal of The Indian Public School, who encouraged participants to seize the opportunity to voice their ideas and perspectives.

The Valedictory Ceremony witnessed the presence of Shri Premchand Aggarwal, Former Cabinet Minister of Uttarakhand and Former Speaker of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. In his address, he emphasized the pivotal role of youth in strengthening democracy, governance, and participatory leadership.
Shastrath was envisioned and founded with the goal of nurturing leadership, diplomacy, and critical thinking among the youth.
The event was seamlessly executed under the stewardship of dedicated convenors – Gurleen, Neeraj, Vanshika, Komal, Mayank, Nakul, and Akash – whose efforts ensured its grand success.
Adding academic depth and professional insights, the initiative was further guided by Advisors – Adv. Ravi Prakash Mishra, Adv. Subham Kashyap, and Adv. Abhishek Bhargav. Over the course of two days, participants engaged in parliamentary and diplomatic simulations, deliberating on democracy, international cooperation, and policy frameworks. More than just a debate, Shastrath became a transformative platform for young leaders to voice solutions, foster collaboration, and embody the vision of “Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders, Today.
